Bibi Jot (“we”) is a baby care log for parents and caregivers. This policy describes what we collect, what we do not collect, and how you control it.
Bibi Jot is built local-first. Feeding, sleep, diaper, growth, and health notes you enter are stored on this device, encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. We do not require an account to use the app.
What stays on your device
Baby profile (name, photo, birth details), care events, reminders, inventory, settings, and exported reports you generate.
A device encryption key is kept in the OS keychain on iPhone/Android, or in this browser’s storage on web. If you set an app lock PIN, that key is wrapped with PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA-256 so the vault cannot be opened without the PIN.
What we do not collect
We do not run advertising trackers, analytics SDKs, or crash reporters that upload baby logs. We do not sell, rent, or share your family’s records with data brokers.
Voice logging, when you use it, is processed by the browser or OS speech service you already use. Bibi Jot does not keep an audio recording.
Optional cloud and family sync
Cloud sync is off unless you turn it on and join a sync group. Then events are sent over HTTPS to our database so caregivers can share a log.
Sign-in (Apple, Google, or email) will only be asked for when you choose restore, family sync, or a paid plan that must follow you across devices. Logging itself never requires an account.
You can export a JSON copy of your data and delete everything on this device at any time from Me → Clear all data.
Children’s privacy
Bibi Jot is for adults caring for a baby. The child is not the account holder. Do not let a child under 13 create or control an account. You are responsible for the information you enter about your baby.
Legal bases (EEA / UK)
Local logging: your consent and our legitimate interest in providing the tool you asked for. Optional sync or purchases: performance of a contract, and consent where required.
Your rights
Access and portability: use Export data. Erasure: use Clear all data, and email us if a cloud copy exists. Contact: support@bibijot.com

Bibi Jot（育嬰記）採本機優先。你輸入的餵養、睡眠、尿布、成長與健康備註都存在這部裝置，並以 AES-256-GCM 加密保存。使用本 App 不需要帳號。
留在你裝置上的資料
寶寶資料（姓名、照片、出生資訊）、照顧紀錄、提醒、庫存、設定，以及你自行匯出的報告。加密金鑰存放在 iPhone Keychain；若開啟 PIN，金鑰會再以 PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA-256 包裝，忘記 PIN 無法由我們重設。
我們不收集的項目
沒有廣告追蹤、沒有會上傳寶寶紀錄的分析 SDK 或崩潰回報。我們不出售、出租或把家庭紀錄交給資料仲介。
可選的雲端與家庭同步
雲端同步預設關閉。只有在你開啟並加入同步組後，紀錄才會經 HTTPS 送到資料庫，方便照顧者共用。登入（Apple、Google 或 email）只會在還原、家庭同步或跨裝置方案時出現。記錄本身永遠不需要帳號。可隨時在「我的 → 清除所有資料」刪除本機資料。
兒童隱私
本 App 給照顧寶寶的成人使用，孩子不是帳號持有人。請勿讓 13 歲以下兒童建立或控制帳號。
